TORONTO, April 27, 2023—Announcing the 2023 Provocation Ideas Festival (PIF) in Toronto. The Festival, in its second year, is focusing on the themes of migration, technology, and their intersections. The promise and perils of artificial intelligence will be a primary area of inquiry throughout the festival's programme.

PIF 2023 will take place at Innis College at the University of Toronto on May 19–20, with several events leading up to and following the main festival dates. All events are open to the public and free of charge.

"The Provocation Ideas Festival brings together disparate voices working for positive change," said Mark Rosenfeld, Founding Director and President of the Provocation Ideas Festival. "We're thrilled with this year's programme and the opportunities it presents for participants to explore the implications of migration and technology-especially artificial intelligence-globally and locally."

The 2023 festival will feature panels, films, live performances, art projections, and immersive storytelling experiences.
