Provocation
Ideas Festival
Our Mission
Provocation brings together disparate voices working for positive change. Since our launch in Toronto in 2022, we’ve expanded to Stratford, Ontario and are preparing to bring this community-driven model of imagination and civic engagement to more places that want to dream—and build—together.
We believe communities thrive when people have space to come together—face-to-face—to explore the issues that shape their daily lives. Too often, opportunities for meaningful public dialogue are fragmented or fleeting. The Provocation Ideas Festival creates a new kind of public square: locally rooted, globally informed, and designed to empower an engaged public to imagine boldly, debate openly, and help shape a better future.
